Annie Butler grew up surrounded by Cumbrian salt marshes and now lives near Carrick on the Galloway coast.
In the last year she has walked, sketched and painted as much of the water’s edge as she could … on both sides. You can see the resulting sketchbooks, paintings and cyanotype prints in this, the first of two exhibitions, one on each side of the Solway.
