Jenny Brown: Between Sands, Sea and Sky

‘Between Sand, Sea & Sky’ is an colourful solo collection of oil paintings of Scottish islands & beaches by Ayrshire artist, Jenny Brown, where she explores the intersection of vast skies with the temperamental seas of west coast sands. Set against an ever-changing tableau of moods drawn from over 11,000 miles of coast, Brown skilfully curates her artworks to build drama juxtaposed with the serenity of calm, turquoise waters over white sandy beaches.

Brown’s work is influenced by the stunning beaches of the Hebrides, Ayrshire and Kintyre. She is a retired teacher from Kilmarnock, wildcard artist of Landscape Artist of the Year 2023 & member of Paisley Art Institute. She has exhibited with Open Studios Ayrshire for 11 years and in her 2nd year with Artmap Argyll.
