Edge Textiles – 77° North – Harbour Cottage Gallery

Following our successful and widely praised exhibition at the Discovery Centre in Dundee, (November 2019-January 2020), Edge Textile Artists Scotland had been looking forward to bringing our work to the Harbour Cottage Gallery. The exhibition, 77° North was inspired by Scotland’s 19^th Century whaling industry, showcases new and exciting contemporary textile pieces, however, since COVID-19 restrictions are now in force, we are pleased to be invited to show a selection of this work on the Gallery website instead.

Edge textile artists Scotland is a collective of artists who have either trained or are resident in Scotland whose aim is to promote excellence in all aspects of contemporary textiles. They held their inaugural exhibition in 2000 at McManus Galleries, Dundee and the City Art Centre, Edinburgh, and have since held numerous successful exhibitions in galleries throughout Scotland, the Quilt Museum in York, and the extremely popular Knitting and Stitching Show.
