Sandra Jaekel, “Bothyart” returns to the Harbour Cottage Gallery in August 2026 with her ever popular display of painted work.

Sandra’s work will be on show from 10 to 22 August.

The Wigotwnshire Artists & Makers group have an exhibition at the Harbour Cottage Gallery.

The exhibition runs from 13 to 25 July, with late opening until 8pm on 23 July.

Recent drawings and paintings in three styles, depicting Dumfries & Galloway

The July programme continues with a joint exhibition of paintings by three local artists.

Richard Brinley had a studio in Kirkcudbright for many years, but has now moved to Gatehouse-of-Fleet.

Ross Fulton is an artist based in Kirkcudbright who holds regular art classes at Kirkcudbright Galleries.

Jenny Fulton is a local artist who makes paintings drawn from nature.

The Borgue Collective returns to the Harbour Cottage Gallery in 2026.

The Borgue Collective is a group of artists and makers, all of whom have some past or present connection with Borgue village.

This year, the collective is joined at the Harbour Cottage Gallery by two guests: PJ Neal (mixed media) and DAGFAS award-winning artist, Christine Atira Pauly (Paintings and mixed media).

Luce Artists are first-time visitors to the Harbour Cottage Gallery in June.

This year, the Harbour Cottage Gallery is holding a Spring exhibition of work from invited artists and makers.

The exhibition will have a varied selection of painting, drawing, and photography as well as jewellery and woodcraft from local makers.

The middle weekend of the exhibition coincides with the Spring Fling open studios weekend.

The Kirkcudbright Craft Association returns to the Harbour Cottage Gallery in May.

Annie Butler grew up surrounded by Cumbrian salt marshes and now lives near Carrick on the Galloway coast.

In the last year she has walked, sketched and painted as much of the water’s edge as she could … on both sides. You can see the resulting sketchbooks, paintings and cyanotype prints in this, the first of two exhibitions, one on each side of the Solway.
