There are fantastic paintings and other objets d’arts (pottery, jewellery, wall hangings , “bric a brac”) which have been in the collections of private individuals, often for very many years, so have not been seen publicly. Prices are spread over a very wide range.
The brief catalogue below shows what is on offer and the items are for sale from now till the end of the show. If interested, before opening, contact Ian Steele (one of the Gallery’s Trustees) on 01557 331839 or by email on i_steele@btconnect.com.
Don’t forget the “Silent Auction”! If there is something you would really like but not just at the advertised price, you can put in a sealed bid. If, at the end of the exhibition, yours is the highest bid above the seller’s reserve, it is yours. Do remeber that submitting the sealed bid obliges you to complete the purchase if yours is the preferred bid.
Even if you are not in the market to buy just now, this is a great show so do come along and enjoy what is on display.
You can download a list of items for sale: Composite list of SALE ITEMS.
