Lisa Hooper is an established printmaker who has lived and worked in Galloway since 2006.

Her work is inspired by the landscape and wildlife of Scotland. She uses a variety of print media including linocut, woodcut, etching, collagraph and monotype to produce small edition original artist’s prints.

This exhibition is Lisa’s third solo at the Harbour Cottage Gallery and represents work completed in the past two years. During that time Lisa has travelled to Sutherland, Shetland and Orkney and her fascination with the Northern Isles and the birds and animals of the north is very evident.

She will be staffing the exhibition throughout the week and will be happy to talk about the techniques she uses and answer any questions you may have about printmaking.
